UK Qualification After completing his studies and successfully achieving his qualifications in the UK as a master craftsman in carpentry, Brian went on to establish himself in the building industry as a entrepreneur. In 1998 he emigrated to South Africa and formed his own company (Onyx Trade 16cc trading as Mr.B’s) thus promoting job creation and enriching and assisting apprentices to qualify as artisans.   20 years experience After 20 years experience in the building and carpentry industry Brian has acquired extensive and specialized knowledge and always risen to the challenge when requested to cater for unusual and specialized carpentry requirements. Professionalism, experience, honesty and reliability have produced an impeccable track record and chain of referred clients. Mr B is a true reflection of his motto being "Quality is a standard and not just an inspiration".

Our Company’s Aims

The sole aim for Mr.Bs Carpenters is to create the highest quality results for our clients through planning and thoughtful design, fine craftsmanship, and the best materials available and proper installation of all our projects. At Mr.Bs, we specialize in the highest quality Finish Carpentry which normally includes installing doors, moldings, wood flooring, Kitchens, Bars, Reception counters, Roofs and custom cabinetry. Very often we focus on a particular room at a time be it a dining room, library, kitchen or bathroom, etc. In most cases we manufacture cabinetry and millwork in our own shop here in Cape Town but sometimes we work with other cabinet makers and welcome opportunity to work with other Interior Designers, Architects, Construction Companies from Cape Town.

The purpose of this web site is to show works in progress and recently completed projects. Some examples are details that I particularly enjoyed developing in the course of a "preservation project". Much of our work has to blend in with older buildings that dictate an existing style. Some of our work is of unique design such as architectural furniture and interior accessories.
